Two safari park visitors learned why you should always keep your window rolled up - after a 'gigantic' camel poked his nose through and helped itself to their lunch.
The women were driving through an exotic ranch in Copperas Cove, Texas, when the hungry ungulate - accompanied by an ostrich - bounded up to their vehicle.
In footage of the animal encounter posted online one of the pair says: 'Oh my God, look at this camel man, he's just like coming.'

Before the camel pokes his nose through the window one of the pair says: 'Oh my God, look at this camel man, he's just like coming'
She adds: 'I'm afraid, I don't want the camel to lick me, I really don't want it. It's huge.'
Suddenly being licked is the least of her concerns as the curious camel pokes its enormous nose through the window prompting high-pitched screams from the women inside.
The animal is not phased by the loud noises and instead helps himself to the snacks sitting on the driver's lap.

After the camel steals the lunch one of the shocked passengers screams: 'He took the whole bag, he ate the whole bag man, he took the entire bag and ate the bag.'
The shocked passenger adds: 'Oh my God he's coming back, Oh God, oh God it's in your car, the camel's in the car, the camel's in the car, hey guy, what's going on. Oh man, you are gigantic, holy s***'
But instead of having a lazy lunch the camel eats the whole thing - including the paper bag - in a single bite.
One of the shocked passengers then screams: 'He took the whole bag, he ate the whole bag man, he took the entire bag and ate the bag.

The Topsey Exotic Ranch website promises that most of its creatures 'are so gentle they may be hand-fed from the safety of your car' - but perhaps the women may disagree
Ca mels are herbivores and graze through the day but they are not known for being fussy eaters.
Food choices are limited in their native deserts so the animals will eat whatever they can find - with their thick lips letting them eat things such as thorny plants and twigs.
They can weigh up to 2,200 pounds when fully grown with a shoulder height of six feet.
