Electric Car Test Drives at Wellington Better Home & Living Show

Organisers of the Wellington Better Home & Living Show are delighted to announce that for the first time, The Better NZ Trust – #leading the charge will be at the show, which opens at the Westpac Stadium on Friday 12 May. Hot on the heels of their 'Tip to Toe' New Zealand tour, the electric car enthusiasts will add a new dimension to the event's focus on sustainable home and lifestyle improvement. Visitors will even be able to test drive an electric car on the open road.

Event Organiser, Josh Shanley, said "We believe that electric vehicles are the future and we are really excited to be able to offer the public a chance to test drive an electric car, which we think will be a real drawcard. We're inviting locals to take up the opportunity and to come and meet the team from #leadingthecharge. They can ask questions about the cars and learn about the Electric Car tour of New Zealand."

"There will also be industry professionals running question and answer sessions in the 'Ask an Expert' area. They will be discussing high-interest topics over the three days, covering gardening, kitchen and bathroom design, building sustainably, back health and choosing colour. We really encourage people to bring along their plans, ideas and questions and to make the most of all the on-site expertise," Mr. Shanley said.

"We have a great line-up of builders and renovators, plus the latest in kitchens, gardening, bathrooms, heating, health and well-being, eco-friendly transport solutions, solar energy and much more. Verdant Design will be creating a sustainable interior design feature, and on Saturday and Sunday, the 'Love Food Hate Waste' campaign will have its hugely popular 'bicycle blender' there, making great smoothies."

For three days from 12-14 May, over 200 exhibitors will gather at the Westpac Stadium to showcase the latest innovations and ideas on living more sustainably, along with numerous show-only specials. The event will provide inspiration, variety and expert advice, all under the one roof.
