BAY CITY, MI -- Southbound lanes of Harry S. Truman Parkway north of Marquette Avenue are closed due to a two-vehicle accident.

Bay County Central Dispatch issued an alert about the closure shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 4.

Northbound Harry S. Truman Parkway is down to one lane. Independence Bridge remains open to northbound and southbound traffic.

The accident involved a Chrysler Sebring and a Ford Taurus. 

Bay City Public Safety officers are investigating the crash.
